Virginia was the daughter of Bernard Godfrey and Nelle Williams Holthouse.

The video below was taken of Virginia in Lawrenceburg at my parent's home in Lawrenceburg in 1981 when Virginia was 66
years old.
Virginia went to work for Holthouse & Hartup after graduating from high school. She won the title of Miss Middle
Tennessee when she was 18 or 19.
When WWII erupted, she wanted to participate in the war effort and so took a job building airplanes in Portland, OR.
After the War and a brief period in which she lived and worked in New Orleans, Virginia returned to Lawrenceburg, living
with her parents. As her parents aged, she took care of them. After they died, she moved into an apartment near
the Catholic Church.
Virginia was about 83 years old when she passed away after a brief illness.
